A Mature Scholar asked for comments on his/her True Rest, True Play, True Study, and Life Task. Michael commented:
Life Task for this Fragment has to do with the elucidation of world truths with regard to the "humane" application of the information...the current task has to do with the "benificent" uses of "data". True Rest for this Fragment can include the following:

  1. Listening to and playing music not related to the instrument of professional choice and not classical. (string instrument, 3rd world, Indonesian, and folk music/Appalachian).
  2. Study of the night sky, can include formal or informal activities.
  3. Walking in unfamiliar terrain for the purpose of investigating natural phenomena. (outcroppings. etc).
  4. Repetitive decorative arts (rug weaving, etc.)
True Play for this Fragment can include: Slight of hand, carousing with good friends, games of chance that can be played alone or with others. (mental puzzles)
True Study for this Fragment can include the following:
The study of gemstones including all phases of mining, cutting, polishing, setting, appreciating, and warfare over them, etc.

Example: Internal Monad Status and Family Icon

Request: "I am a Mature Slave and would like comments on my Monadal Status and on my Family Icon."

Michael: The Fragment is now at the 6th level (of 4th Monad--there are 7 levels in each Monad) and we would have to say "plugging right along." However we would recommend consultation with a competent astrologer to deal with energy fluctuations within the life as well as to recognize periods of strength and weakness that are part of the tidal flow that are the hallmarks of astrology. Also of course True Rest and True Play are apt to prove important at this time. And should you choose to set aside time for such, some alleviation of the tension expressed is likely to be less intrusive than has been the case in the past.

As regards the Icon for this Fragment, there is in fact an Adult Icon of sorts along the lines of the Intrepid Explorer; the Familial Icon (Childhood Icon) however is The One Who Cannot Do Enough For His Family.
